The Occult, Demons, and Free-Will

I wasn't looking for this and usually don't watch videos like this, but it was in a list of suggested videos and caught my interest.  And since it's Halloween, I thought it was worth sharing on my other blogs, especially because she's so real, honest, humble, and matter-of-fact about it.  (I don't like overly sensationalized stories.  And FYI: I haven't watched any other videos of hers but these.) "Halloween warning from an ex-witch (warning heavy talk)"  (26 minutes long) And even better is her testimony about coming to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior:  "From the occult to Christ"  (8 1/2 minutes long).  So awesome to see her testimony and her journey of faith!   But what really caught my attention - what made me think to also share this video on my anti-Calvinism blog - is when she said that during a Reiki session, some witches told her that they saw her spirit guides and that the spirit guides want to "help align your chakra about...

For my new friend who's struggling:

Thank you so much for talking with me yesterday.  For sharing your hurts, losses, and struggles honestly.  It was a real blessing for me.  Honest, real, vulnerable people are my kind of people, the kind I respect the most.  😊 To you (and anyone else who's hurting and struggling), I dedicate some of my favorite songs, ones that help me when I'm hurting and struggling.  And I've had many of those times myself.  (You might also like this post: Healing your soul from Calvinism's damage .): From my favorite band, The City Harmonic  - the band that got me through my hardest times.  Their words became my prayers when I was so broken that I didn't have my own words to pray anymore.: Honestly (I understand this) Fell Apart  (My favorite opening line in a song, ever) Oh, What Love  (One of my all-time favorites - grace, forgiveness, mercy, healing, hope, purpose, all wrapped up in His amazing love!) Praise the Lord  (This is the key to gett...

(I know this isn't about Calvinism, but I felt like sharing it here too, instead of just on my other blog .  Something about this person's judgmentalism, about how they think they have the insight to decide who's in and who's out of heaven, reminds me of Calvinism's view of the non-elect, how they have decided that certain people just can't be saved.)   I read a post from a Christian the other day that bugs me so much I've gotta address it.  It's a post from the Rapture Ready website called   "An Artist's Testimony or Agenda?"   And it's basically a Christian calling a newly-born-again celebrity a "false convert."   And the "proof" that this Christian uses to support their case are things like the celebrity said she wasn't planning on changing her goth looks, that she didn't burn her witchcraft books but merely threw them out , that she's "BFF's" with a satanist, that she thinks skulls are ...
